ISRE has two categories of membership: Full Membership and Associate Membership.
Full Membership is for emotion researchers who possess the terminal degree in their field of specialization (typically the Ph.D.) and have completed their professional training. To receive Full Membership, applicants must submit an application and provide the name of a Full Member of ISRE who will serve as a reference.
Associate Membership is for less-established emotion researchers who have not yet obtained the terminal degree in their field or are engaged in postgraduate training. Associate Members are typically advanced graduate students or postdoctoral students. Associate Membership is limited to a single four-year term. To receive Associate Membership, applicants must submit an application and provide the name of a Full Member of ISRE who will serve as a reference.
Annual dues are US$75 for Full Members, US$55 for Associate Members.

There is no need to submit dues at the time of application.
Dues will be billed by the ISRE Treasurer after the application is accepted and membership becomes official.
